10. How good is your science?

• We are all about helping people to get into the best shape of their lives. It’s our total vision and mission. And as a result, we stand behind our products 100 percent and want to make sure that people are going to get the results they expect. In order to do that, we must first do the scientific groundwork to make sure that our products truly perform. Our Science Team is second to none and includes researchers from Cornell, Columbia, University of Queensland, and other prominent universities. Literally dozens of prestigious international scientific journals, meetings, and conferences worldwide have featured the research on our TAIslim System. We have never seen a more scientifically validated program for weight management than the TAIslim System.

  Here is an example of one of our studies showing that, compared to diet and exercise alone, TAIslim System participants lost 4 times more body weight, 6 times more body fat, and 6 times more centimetres from their waist!

  FreeLife undertook a strict 3-month randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind human clinical study, the “gold standard” of clinical research, which included caloric restriction and moderate exercise. Compared to participants who were on a placebo, TAIslim System participants lost: 4 times more body weight; 6 times more body fat; 6 times more centimetres from their waist; and 4 times more centimetres from their hips. TAIslim System participants also recorded a 6 times greater reduction in Body Mass Index (BMI), while also experiencing significantly greater improvements in blood pressure and blood sugar levels than the control group.
  

11. What does FreeLife mean by “healthy” weight management?

• Most weight management/fitness programs are not healthy for you. Unbalanced fad diets, hormone shots, drugs, and gastric bypass surgery can have risks and serious consequences. Meal replacement shakes may seem healthy, but some of the most popular programs use inexpensive and inferior soy protein instead of using more effective and more costly whey protein. According to multiple scientific studies, including a new study just published in August 2011 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture there is no question that whey protein is superior to soy protein for weight management, and fitness goals.

  When FreeLife first launched back in the 1990s, we used soy protein in our shakes, but nutrition science has advanced, and so have we. New science has proven that whey protein is far superior to soy for the human body.  But most companies won’t use whey protein because it costs twice as much as soy protein! Some companies also use artificial flavours in their products. Why? Because superior natural flavours can cost several times as much as artificial ones.
